(Baonghean.vn) - Le Thi Mai Suong, class 12A1, Nguyen Duy Trinh High School, scored 27.45 points in the A block exam, and is one of the students with high scores in Nghi Loc district in the 2016 national high school exam.

Born into a farming family in block 6 of Quan Hanh town, witnessing her parents working hard all year round in the fields to provide for her three siblings' education, Suong was independent from a young age, not letting her parents or teachers remind her or bother her about her studies.

When asked about the secret to studying, Suong shared: “In addition to mastering theoretical knowledge thoroughly, you must regularly solve problems online, think carefully, find the fastest way to solve them, and from there have a method for each type of exercise. Besides, participating in group study is also a secret to help me achieve high efficiency in studying.”

Thanks to that, Suong's academic results are truly proud: Continuously for 12 years of studying, she achieved the title of excellent student in all aspects. In grade 9 and grade 11, Suong won high prizes in Math in the provincial excellent student competition. And now she has become one of the candidates with high scores in block A of Nghi Loc district in the 2016 national high school exam with a total of 27.45 points (Math: 9.25, Physics: 9.2, Chemistry 9.0).

Commenting on her excellent student, teacher Hoang Thi Kim Lien - Party cell secretary, Vice Principal of Nguyen Duy Trinh High School said: "At school, Suong is an excellent student, a shining example for all other students in the school. Not only does she do well in her studies, Suong also has a good sense of morality, is obedient, agile and especially her communication skills are very good."

Because her family is a farmer, Suong spends most of her time studying at home and participating in study groups with her classmates. Outside of school hours, as the eldest sister in the family, Suong helps her parents with farm work and guides her younger sister with her homework. Suong said she is always proud that despite many difficulties, her family is always filled with laughter and happiness.

Mr. Le Van Nhan - Suong's father shared: "My wife and I only know how to work in the fields all year round. When we heard that our child got quite high results in the exam, the family was very happy. Although the family's circumstances are still difficult, we will try to raise our child to study so that he can escape the situation of having to work hard like his parents."

With a score of 27.45 plus 1 bonus point of 28.45, the door of Hanoi University of Pharmacy will certainly welcome her.
