Boarding student drowned while bathing

On September 29, information from the government of Thong Thu commune (Que Phong) and Thong Thu Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities said that a tragic drowning incident had just occurred in the area. The victim was Luong Binh Khang (born 2003, residing in Muong Phu village, Thong Thu commune, Que Phong district).

Accordingly, at noon on September 27, after class, Khang and a group of friends left school and no one knew where they went. On the afternoon of September 28, Khang's family went to the school to ask if he had returned home, then the school and his family organized a search and discovered Khang had drowned in a waterfall 1.5km from the school.

According to information from the school and the group of friends accompanying Khang, while bathing, Luong Binh Khang unfortunately slipped into a deep water hole and was swept away and went missing. After learning that his friend had been swept away by the water, out of fear, the group of friends returned to school without informing anyone.

It is known that Khang is a 6A student at Thong Thu Commune Boarding Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities, whose family is in very difficult circumstances.

Currently, Khang's body is being brought home by family, relatives and the school for funeral arrangements.
