The first grade textbook published last year and this year's textbook have many differences. |
In response to the above question from the teacher, Mr. Nguyen Van Tung, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Education Publishing House, answered VOV online newspaper, affirming that the teacher's reflection is actually correct.
The reason for this situation, according to Mr. Tung, is that in April 2017, the Minister of Education and Training issued Decision No. 1338/QD-BGDDT dated April 19, 2017 to establish the National Council for Appraisal of Vietnamese Language Materials for Grade 1 in Educational Technology.
Based on the comments of the National Appraisal Council, the group of authors has adjusted some content, including some materials in the Vietnamese 1 Educational Technology student book.
Based on the Council's conclusion and the recommendations of the Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences on the revised Vietnamese Grade 1 Educational Technology document after review, the Ministry of Education and Training has issued a document guiding the Departments of Education and Training to implement the teaching of Vietnamese Grade 1 Educational Technology in the 2017-2018 school year (CV No. 3877/BGDĐT dated August 22, 2017).

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Tung, since the conclusion of the appraisal council, the Vietnam Education Publishing House has directed the publishing unit to receive the remaining Vietnamese 1 Educational Technology books printed in 2016 at the publishing companies and agents to provide a uniform copy of the 2017 printed books to localities to serve the 2017-2018 school year.
However, before the decision on the assessment was made, some parents may have bought books early for their children. In this case, before the new school year 2017 - 2018, the Vietnam Education Publishing House also directed the publishing unit to change the 2017 printed book for the children. There may be some parents who do not have the information to exchange the books or there may be students who reuse old books from the 2016 - 2017 school year.
Through the distribution network, the publishing unit of the Vietnam Education Publishing House will exchange the 2017 printed Vietnamese 1 Educational Technology book for students who have purchased the 2016 printed book but have not been able to exchange the 2017 printed book. This is to create conditions for all students to use the 2017 printed book./.
