Students in mountainous district receive many gifts from Ho Chi Minh City
(Baonghean.vn) - A volunteer group from Ho Chi Minh City has given thousands of books and many gifts to poor students in the mountainous district of Tuong Duong.

Responding to the activities of the Reading Festival in Tuong Duong district, the group "Loving Sunday" from Ho Chi Minh City coordinated with Nhon Mai Primary School to organize gift giving for poor students.

Accordingly, at Huoi Co school (Nhon Mai), in addition to organizing activities such as reading, displaying books, drawing, singing and dancing, etc., the delegation also presented 831 story books of various types; 12 globes; 50 sets of home study corners, 1 bookshelf, table and chair; and 1 48-inch TV.
On this occasion, the delegation also presented Mai Son Primary School with a projector and 25 boxes of books, each containing 300 books, to 25 primary schools in the district.

The group's purpose is to contribute to building libraries in classrooms and schools in villages and residential areas to gradually improve people's knowledge, help students stick with books and schools, and contribute to improving the quality of comprehensive education in the locality.
