Before the national round, in the 2024-2025 school year, Nghe An also organized school, district and city level competitions. Thereby, 85 excellent entries were selected for the provincial round and prizes were awarded to students. The high-achieving entries were selected to compete at the national level.

In addition, many works have detailed solutions that have been implemented in schools, communities or related organizations such as organizing talks, seminars, extracurricular activities, designing creative communication materials on preventing and combating school violence and the harmful effects of child labor; establishing support hotlines and whistleblowing mailboxes.

The entry by student Dinh Anh Hieu - Ha Huy Tap Secondary School was handwritten on 19 pages and was awarded second prize at the provincial competition for secondary school students.

The article mentions the current state of school violence in schools, through real data from the school he is studying at. In addition, through the perspective of a 13-year-old student, Hieu also proposed some solutions that are both close and practical to solve the problem in the classroom. In particular, the idea of establishing small advisory groups in the classes so that each member can share and resolve conflicts and difficulties, avoiding conflicts and violence.

We did this project when Hieu was in 7th grade and when correcting his work, I found it very interesting because he brought a very realistic view of school age. Through this contest, we want to spread awareness and responsibility of students in building a safe and friendly school environment. More importantly, it helps them have the skills to protect themselves and stay away from school violence.
