(Baonghean.vn) - Old textbooks, new notebooks and lots and lots of love are the feelings that Nghe An students have given to their friends in the Central provinces these days.

For many years, Mr. Tran Van Duc's family in Phuc Thinh block, Vinh Tan ward (Vinh city) has kept and carefully packed old textbooks at the end of each school year. They are part of the old documents so that when needed, the children can review the lessons. But these are also memories that the family wants to leave for the children to keep during their school years.

The other day, his two children found those books again and carefully selected each one. In addition to the textbooks sorted by series, some books with torn covers were wrapped and re-labeled by the children. Without their parents having to remind them, all the books were wrapped separately into small packages, labeled by grade level so that when they arrived at school, the teachers did not need to sort them.

To have more gifts for the children in the flood area, the younger sister also selected all the boxes of school supplies, rearranged them and asked her parents for some new notebooks to give to the children... Seeing the children's work, Mr. Tran Van Duc was really happy because although the children's gifts were not big, thanks to them, the children learned about caring and sharing. Moreover, it was also a form for the children to join hands to share with their fellow countrymen.central regionflooded

In just 2 days of launching, Hung Dung 2 Primary School, Le Mao Secondary School, Provincial Ethnic Minority High School, Le Viet Thuat High School and many other schools in the province received thousands of textbooks, notebooks, pens, bags and school supplies.

At Hung Dung 2 Primary School, the campaign was launched right when the flood was at its most critical stage. Therefore, even though it was just a few short messages sent by homeroom teachers in a private group, it received the support of hundreds of students and parents..After 3 days of launching, the entire Hung Dung 2 Primary School donated more than 2,000 notebooks, 2,000 pens, 110 school bags, thousands of textbooks from grades 2 to 12 and many other school supplies such as pencil boxes, rulers, colors and pencils.

From information from parents, I know that many schools in Dong Hoi (Quang Binh) have run out of books and notebooks and many students will not have books to go to school in the coming days. Therefore, when the whole country is joining hands for the Central region, our school also wants to contribute a small part to support. The results achieved, I am not surprised by the number of books, notebooks and school supplies that students donated, but I am surprised by the participation and response of many parents and students.

It can be seen that no program has been implemented so quickly but has achieved such great results. We also hope that from the heart of the school community, we will be able to share some of the difficulties with students in flood-affected areas.

At the Provincial Ethnic Minority Boarding School, the call for sharing with students in flood-affected areas was also launched quickly after the school received information that the flood had buried and swept away almost all books, notebooks, and school supplies of tens of thousands of students and hundreds of schools in Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, and Thua Thien Hue. With the desire to share with people in flood-affected areas, teachers and students of the school together raised 18 million VND to promptly buy necessities and send them directly to the Central region.

In addition, the school's students also donated a portion of their savings, books, notebooks, and school supplies to students in flood-affected areas. After two days of launching, the school collected 1,600 notebooks, 3,000 pens, 250 school bags, 500 textbooks of all levels, and 100 sets of school supplies, hoping to contribute a small part to help schools in the Central region stabilize and return to normal learning after the flood. The program also received support from former students of the school.

Donations, donateBooks and notebooks have also been implemented by many other schools in the province, especially after the Nghe An Education Union issued an appeal on the industry's fanpage. Being present at Le Mao Secondary School and Le Viet Thuat High School (Vinh City) and witnessing the donation and classification of books, notebooks, and school supplies of students, one can clearly see the sense of responsibility of the students when responding to this program.

Student Le Tran Hoang Phuong - Class 7B, Le Mao Secondary School added: Since the storm and flood, I have watched TV every day and feel sorry for my peers because they no longer have homes, and their books and notebooks have all been damaged. Therefore, when my school launched a fundraising campaign, I felt grateful because I was able to help them return to school.

These meaningful gifts have also been received by the Departments of Education and Training.Education Industry UnionThe province is gathering and is expected to be transferred to Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, and Thua Thien Hue provinces next Wednesday.

We are deeply moved by the support of many parents, students and schools. I believe that these practical and meaningful gifts will be a great source of encouragement for students in flood-affected areas to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize teaching and learning.
