The opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year is linked to the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the National Ministry of Education (now the Ministry of Education and Training). This aims to spread the glorious historical traditions of the education sector, the spirit of innovation and creativity, and to strive for an effective and high-quality school year.

To ensure that the opening ceremony is solemn, meaningful, practical, economical, and has a wide-ranging impact throughout the education sector and society, the Department of Education and Training requires schools to organize it concisely to create a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere for the opening day.
Afterward,tfrom 8 to 9 a.m.All educational institutions (both public and private) will hold their opening ceremonies concurrently with the 80th anniversary celebration of the Ministry of National Education (now the Ministry of Education and Training) and the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year at the National Convention Center.
The ceremony will be broadcast live on VTV1; local authorities will organize the event for the entire school or within individual classrooms, depending on the specific conditions of each school.
By attending the 80th anniversary celebration of the Ministry of National Education, we contribute to widely disseminating the history and affirming the role, position, and glorious traditions of the education sector.
At the same time, we aim to educate on political ideology, patriotism, national pride, self-reliance, self-improvement, and to harness the strength of collectives and individuals, striving to excellently fulfill the targets and tasks of the unit and school, contributing to the successful implementation of the political tasks of the province and the Education and Training sector.

Previously, in preparation for this special opening ceremony, the Provincial People's Committee issued a document requesting the Department of Education and Training to take the lead and coordinate with relevant departments, agencies, and units to promptly and effectively organize the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year, coinciding with the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of National Education (now the Ministry of Education and Training), as directed by the Ministry of Education and Training.
At the same time, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism is tasked with directing media agencies, based on its functions and duties, to strengthen communication about the Anniversary Celebration of the Establishment of the National Ministry of Education (now the Ministry of Education and Training) and the Opening Ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year on local mass media.
