According to the United Nations, there are currently about 1.1 billion girls in the world. However, in many places, girls still face many difficulties, such as early marriage, unwanted pregnancy, sexually transmitted diseases, and gender-based violence. Even in Vietnam, the ideology of "preferring sons over daughters" and having sons to continue the family line is still present in many families.

With the theme “Give equality, receive love”, the communication program in response to this year’s International Day was organized in the form of presentations and dramatization. Through it, students at Nghi Huong Secondary School - Cua Lo town expressed many opinions on gender equality for girls and wished to be cared for, shared and let girls be themselves. In addition, the students also participated in games, quick question and answer contests...

From there, it also highlights the role of the whole society in protecting, caring for and educating girls, to ensure that all girls receive health care. At the same time, it strengthens good coordination between family, school and society to educate, shape personality and equip girls with the necessary knowledge and skills for their comprehensive development.
