Students in Nghe An receive Kyungdong Korean scholarships, worth 36 billion VND

(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of May 11, the Department of Education and Training in collaboration with Kyungdong University, Korea and Atlantic International Education and Training Company held the ceremony to announce the 2016 Kyungdong University scholarships.

Representatives of departments, branches and students attended the scholarship award ceremony.

The Korean scholarship is for high school students who participated in the scholarship exam in January 2016 and plan to study at Kyungdong University - Korea. In this scholarship exam, Nghe An province had 150 high school students participating. As a result, 69 students received scholarships, including 29 70% scholarships and 40 50% scholarships. The total value of the scholarships is more than 36 billion VND.

The first scholarship exam was held in July 2015. After two years of organization, Kyungdong University Scholarship has been awarded to nearly 600 Vietnamese students.

Kyungdong University Scholarship is an opportunity for students to access modern and advanced education. This is also an activity to bring the Vietnam - Korea cooperation relationship to the level of strategic partnership, strengthen bilateral cooperation as well as promote cultural and educational exchanges between the two countries.
