Phan School students won third prize in the final round of the contest to learn about the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Overview of the competition.

Previously, in the semi-final round with the participation of 90 contestants, the Organizing Committee selected the 15 best contestants to participate in the national final round, in which Huy Minh was the only representative of Nghe An province.

The online contest “Learning about the Communist Party of Vietnam” took place from November 24, 2019 to December 28, 2019 with 5 weeks of competition; attracting nearly 700,000 candidates from 67 provincial, municipal, affiliated unions and Vietnamese youth and students abroad, such as Russia, Hungary, the US, South Korea, the UK, Germany, France, Poland, Japan, China, Laos, etc.

At the end of the Future Steps competition, the Organizing Committee compiled the scores of the competitions and awarded prizes to the teams. The Excellent Young Volunteer Team won the first prize with 385 points; the Green Summer Team won the second prize with 263 points; the Pink Vacation Team won the third prize with 243 points. Two teams won the Encouragement Prize: the Green March Team: 175 points and the Red Flamboyant Team: 204 points. Doan Van Nam (Tien Giang) won the special prize of the competition with the highest total score of all rounds. The teams will participate in the trip back to the source in Con Dao.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Luong - Secretary of the Central Youth Union, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Contest on Learning about the Communist Party of Vietnam said: “Up to now, this is one of the online contests with the largest number of participants organized by the Central Youth Union. Notably, there are nearly 1,000 contestants who are Vietnamese youth and students abroad.

The quality of the contestants was consistent, many contestants continuously achieved perfect scores in the rounds and were passionate and enthusiastic about the contest. During the contest, Youth Union chapters at all levels across the country simultaneously organized a series of seminars, workshops, festivals, journeys to the red address... contributing to the spreading effect of the contest to the community.

In addition, the contest applied many new and modern technologies. For the first time, an online quiz contest of the Union applied all types of questions in text, image, sound, and film to create a variety of questions and create excitement for candidates. The contest's propaganda work was focused on promoting propaganda, especially in cyberspace, creating great attraction for young people as well as public opinion."
