This is one of the contents disseminated at the Traffic Safety Launch Ceremony for Students Going to School, organized by the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee in coordination with relevant units, taking place on the morning of September 16, at Kim Lien High School (Nam Dan).

Speaking at the program, comrade Phan Huy Chuong - Deputy Head of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee said: In recent times, thanks to the drastic and synchronous implementation of solutions, traffic order and safety in the area have been basically maintained.
However, the awareness of voluntarily complying with the law onTraffic safetyof students is still limited. Cases of students violating traffic safety order are still common, with some main violations such as: Not wearing a helmet when riding a motorbike, scooter, electric bicycle; violating speed regulations; not being old enough to drive a vehicle; not having a driver's license...
In the first 8 months of the year alone, there were 16 traffic accidents involving students, killing 8 people and injuring 13 others.

Accordingly, to more drastically implement fundamental solutions to prevent and reduce traffic accidents involving school-age children in the province, at the launching ceremony, comrade Phan Huy Chuong stated:
All levels, sectors, socio-political organizations, and schools identify the implementation of Directive No. 31/CT-TTg dated December 21, 2023 of the Prime Minister on strengthening the work of ensuring traffic order and safety for school-age children in the new situation as a key task that must be deployed regularly, continuously, and synchronously, integrated with other related topics, suitable for each locality and school level.

Schools need to continue to strengthen propaganda and dissemination of legal knowledge on traffic safety and order, and traffic participation skills for students using appropriate forms and measures, in an easy-to-understand and easy-to-absorb manner, suitable for each region, area, age, and grade level...
Traffic police force has increased patrols and controls, promptly detected and handled violations, especially those that pose a risk of causing accidents to students; in cases of student violations, notices are sent to the school for appropriate handling and educational measures.

Above all, each student should increase awareness and self-consciousness in complying with legal regulations on traffic safety and order; regularly practice vehicle control skills, always remember the message "Respecting the law to build a safe traffic culture"...
