Over the years, the movement to study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style in Nghe An has been widely and effectively implemented with concrete actions. These quiet efforts have recently been recognized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor with prestigious Certificates of Merit for the period 2023-2025.

What is readily apparent from the activities of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Union over the past three years is the strong shift towards providing genuine service to its members. The Nghe An Labor Union has demonstrated that "learning from Uncle Ho"It must originate from the things that are closest and most practical to union members and workers."
The most striking aspect is the systematic and widespread social welfare programs. Between 2023 and 2025, the "Tet Reunion" program became a symbol of compassion, with a total expenditure of nearly 99.4 billion VND. Beyond simply giving gifts, the Provincial Labor Union realized the dream of secure housing for the most disadvantaged workers by supporting the construction and repair of 206 "Trade Union Shelters" with a total cost of over 8.16 billion VND. Particularly noteworthy is the "Collective Wedding Ceremony" organized for 11 poor worker couples in 2025, a deeply humane highlight demonstrating the understanding and sharing of the Trade Union organization regarding the simplest happiness needs of workers.
In its role of caring for and protecting union members and workers, the Provincial Labor Federation has promoted the signing of collective labor agreements in 484 enterprises (reaching 82%), ensuring core rights regarding wages, bonuses, and working conditions for tens of thousands of workers. The organization has also established a strike resolution team, proactively intervening and promptly handling disputes, helping to maintain stable labor relations in the area and preventing prolonged conflicts.
The creativity of the Nghe An Trade Union is further demonstrated by the record number of 42,872 initiatives participating in the "1 Million Initiatives" program, of which 105 projects were awarded the Creative Labor Certificate by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. To keep pace with the digital age, the Trade Union has launched the "Nghe An Trade Union" app and implemented the "Digital Literacy Movement," showing its quick adaptation and ability to connect and support union members anytime, anywhere. Simultaneously, models such as "Trade Union Meal," "Cooling Down the Summer," and "Your Health" have transformed President Ho Chi Minh's lessons on dedication into practical action in every factory and industrial park.
With these outstanding and tangible achievements, the Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor has affirmed its position as a pioneering collective, worthy of being a reliable support and a source of confidence for the province's workers, civil servants, and laborers.

Behind the impressive achievements of the collective lies the dedication and concern of individuals – the "torchbearers" at the grassroots level. They choose to learn from President Ho Chi Minh through their understanding, innovative spirit, and aspiration to bring real value to their fellow workers.
At Minh Anh Kim Lien Garment Joint Stock Company, Mr. Phan Dinh Tai (born in 1992) - Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union, is a prime example of innovation, creativity, and dedication. For him, learning from President Ho Chi Minh means learning to listen and improve working conditions for workers, starting from the smallest things.
Mr. Tài has taken a groundbreaking step by applying digital platforms (Zalo/Google Forms) to receive feedback from employees regarding the quality of canteen meals and food safety and hygiene. Previously, feedback sent via traditional mailboxes could take up to 7 days to process; now, with the QR code system in the canteen, the processing time has been reduced to just 24 hours. Feedback on safety and logistics is automatically compiled and reported immediately to the Board of Directors, creating a transparent and responsive work environment.
Not only that, he also directly advised on the "Improving Factory Temperature Environment" Project and maintained the "Summer Cooling Program". Almost every year, the activities for workers at Minh Anh Kim Lien Garment Joint Stock Company are widely publicized in the media and press due to their meticulousness, scale, and creativity. From decorating the factory to ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress) contests, from organizing game shows to skilled line competitions… With the close attention of the grassroots trade union, the company has not experienced any serious workplace safety incidents for many years.
For Mr. Le Xuan Binh (born in 1979) - Deputy General Director and Chairman of the Trade Union of Nghe An Coffee and Rubber Company Limited, learning from President Ho Chi Minh is closely linked to fairness and efficiency in production. One of his biggest achievements in the 2023-2025 period is the change in the method of purchasing rubber latex.
Recognizing the shortcomings of the old latex measurement method, which negatively impacted workers' income and morale, Mr. Binh boldly proposed and implemented a method of directly measuring latex content by burning at the field for each plantation. This change brought absolute fairness, allowing workers to clearly see the value of their labor in every drop of latex, thereby significantly improving their income and creating peace of mind in their work.
In addition, his initiative "Improving the efficiency of fungicide spraying" has brought hundreds of millions of dong in economic benefits. The orchards that received proper spraying techniques have stable foliage and yield harvests 30-45 days earlier than before. This is the result of a process of closely monitoring the fields, going deep into the farms to find optimal solutions for businesses and workers.
At Woosin Vina Co., Ltd., a foreign-invested company, the image of the young Union Chairman, Nguyen Phuong Nam (born in 1998), is always associated with humane initiatives. Observing workers frequently experiencing vehicle breakdowns during peak hours or evenings, causing difficulties in commuting, Mr. Nam implemented a "Zero-Cost Tire Repair Station" right at the company. Equipped with everything from air pumps and repair kits to glue, this station has helped hundreds of workers save time and money, while also fostering a spirit of mutual support and compassion within the factory.
Following President Ho Chi Minh's example of thoroughness, Mr. Nam proactively surveyed and proposed to the Board of Directors the application of new allowances for direct laborers. From 2024, the company officially implemented a standing allowance of 200,000 VND/month and a sitting allowance of 70,000 VND/month. While these figures may not be large, they are a well-deserved recognition of the unique nature of the workers' jobs, helping them to become more committed to the company. When President Ho Chi Minh's ideology is applied creatively and practically, it becomes a powerful driving force for boosting production and building a cultural life among workers. Every solution, however small, such as a QR code for feedback or a new allowance policy, has contributed to building a harmonious and stable labor relationship, where businesses thrive and workers are respected. The positive repercussions from this movement will continue to ignite enthusiasm, inspiring each worker to love their job, remain committed to the factory, and together build a prosperous future for their homeland.
To encourage, motivate, and recognize outstanding collectives and individuals in the movement to study and follow the ideology, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh, on the afternoon of May 19th, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded Certificates of Merit to 43 collectives and 88 individuals with outstanding achievements in the period 2023-2025. With their practical contributions and results, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Union and three individuals, Mr. Le Xuan Binh, Mr. Nguyen Phuong Nam, and Mr. Phan Dinh Tai, were honored, becoming exemplary models that strongly spread the spirit of innovation and dedicated service to workers.
