On August 16, Hoi An will open vegetarian food stalls, aiming to become an "Ecological - Cultural - Tourism" city.

Hoi An City has just called on the community and tourists to respond to the "Meat-free Day for the Environment and Health" held on August 16. This is an activity to support a healthy lifestyle, awareness of protecting the ecological environment; at the same time, calling for people to awaken to the connection between eating habits, health and global climate change.

Meatless Day is organized on the occasion of “Hoi An - Japan Cultural Exchange and Flower Lantern Festival - Filial Piety, Hoi An 2016”.
