Hoi An calls on tourists to be vegetarian
On August 16, Hoi An will open vegetarian food stalls, aiming to become an "Ecological - Cultural - Tourism" city.
Hoi An City has just called on the community and tourists to respond to the "Meat-free Day for the Environment and Health" held on August 16. This is an activity to support a healthy lifestyle, awareness of protecting the ecological environment; at the same time, calling for people to awaken to the connection between eating habits, health and global climate change.

Accordingly, on August 16, at An Hoi Sculpture Garden, vegetarian food stalls will open with rich and unique dishes; promising to bring people and tourists attractive flavors in enjoying vegetarian cuisine.
Meatless Day is organized on the occasion of “Hoi An - Japan Cultural Exchange and Flower Lantern Festival - Filial Piety, Hoi An 2016”. This is also an activity aiming at the goal of building Hoi An into an “Ecological – Cultural – Tourism” city, contributing to promoting the image of Hoi An tourism to visitors.
