Song Lam Fans Association organizes traditional football tournament in Da Nang

(Baonghean.vn) - This year, the 5th Song Lam Da Nang traditional football tournament - 2017 includes 18 strong teams from Nghe An and Ha Tinh.

The Organizing Committee has divided the tournament into 4 groups, in which group A includes: defending champion LQ Nghi Xuan - Duc Tho; second seed Tan Ky and the teams Quy Hop, Yen Thanh and Hoang Mai.

Group B is a fairly balanced group with the participation of Vinh City, Quynh Luu, Ky Anh, Dien Chau. Except for Dien Chau, which has a high chance of winning a ticket to the next round, the remaining ticket will be divided equally among all 3 teams.

Group C includes the teams Do Luong, LQ Thach Ha - Ha Tinh City, LQ Nghi Loc Cua Lo, Hung Nguyen.

Group D includes Thanh Chuong, LQ Nghia Dan - Thai Hoa, LQ Huong Son - Huong Khe, Anh Son, LQ Can Loc - Cam Xuyen. Number 1 seed Thanh Chuong is a notable name. Meanwhile, the remaining ticket to the quarter-finals seems to be a contest between LQ Nghia Dan - Thai Hoa and LQ Huong Son - Huong Khe.

On the evening of May 10, the 5th Song Lam Da Nang traditional football tournament - 2017 opened with matches of very high professional quality.

FC Do Luong with the presence of former U16 Vietnam player - Truong Quang Tuan played quite bravely and defeated LQ Thach Ha - TP. Ha Tinh (Group C) with a score of 4-2. Quy Hop defeated Hoang Mai (Group A) with a score of 2-1.

Mr. Tran Huu Thuat, Chairman of the National Song Lam Supporters Association, said: "The biggest motivation for us to organize the Annual Tournament is to connect the people of Nghe An in a foreign land, to keep the children and grandchildren living far away from home to understand and love the hearts of the Nghe people." It is known that the final match will be held at 4:30 p.m. on May 21 at Tuyen Son Sports Village, Da Nang.
