Nghe An Red Cross Society donates nearly 200 million VND to support people in flooded areas
(Baonghean.vn) - To help people in flood-affected areas quickly overcome flood damage, the Nghe An Provincial Red Cross Society coordinated with the Minh Hoa District Red Cross Society (Quang Binh) and the Long Bien District Red Cross Society (Hanoi) to provide nearly 200 million VND to help people stabilize their lives.
On November 4, the working group ofNghe An Provincial Red Cross Societyhas returnedYen Thanh districtpresented 450 gifts, of which 250 were for Khanh Thanh commune (each gift was 200,000 VND and 1 box of instant noodles and other necessities) and presented 2 tons of rice to 100 households in Bao Thanh commune, encouraging people to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

The delegation also visited and encouraged the family of veteran Phan Van Cuong, 74 years old, whose house collapsed in the recent flood, and the family of Le Van Tuan, 21 years old, in Quynh Khoi village, Khanh Thanh commune. Tuan had an accident while working abroad and is currently bedridden.
