Red Cross Society gives gifts to support people in flooded areas of Ky Son and Tuong Duong districts
(Baonghean.vn) - On October 10, the Provincial Red Cross Society coordinated with Thien Tam Red Cross Society (Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City) and philanthropists from Ho Chi Minh City and Ca Mau to give gifts to people affected by natural disasters in Ky Son and Tuong Duong districts.
On this occasion, the delegation presented 140 gifts to people affected by natural disasters in Pha Lom, Phong, and Huoi Son villages (Tuong Duong); Ta Ca commune (Ky Son), with a total value of over 130 million VND. Of which, 10 pairs of breeding pigs were provided to support the livelihoods of 10 families in Huoi Son village, with an amount of over 20 million VND.

Along with that, the delegation also visited and gave gifts to hundreds of children at the gift-giving points, visited and supported the charity house model "Whoever needs, come and take, whoever has, share" jointly implemented by the Border Guard Station, the Youth Volunteer Force and the People's Committee of Tam Hop commune.
