Ho Tong Thoc Scholar's Temple Festival

(Baonghean) - At the beginning of the new year, along with many other festival activities throughout the country, the people of Tho Thanh commune (Yen Thanh district) solemnly organize the festival at the temple of the First-ranked Scholar Ho Tong Thoc.

The temple dedicated to the First-Rank Scholar Ho Tong Thoc is located in Tam Tho village, Tho Thanh commune (Yen Thanh district). On the 9th and 10th days of the first lunar month, members of the Ho family from all over the country, along with local people, gather here to hold a festival commemorating the First-Rank Scholar Ho Tong Thoc – the scholar who initiated the renowned academic tradition of the Ho Tam Cong family, bringing glory to the Ho family and to their homeland.
