The Provincial Association of War Veterans Enterprises gives support to build houses for poor families.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 1, the Veterans Business Association (VBA) of Nghe An province organized a ceremony to provide house building support to disadvantaged VBA members in Do Luong district.

The family of veteran Nguyen Duc Cuoi in Thuong Minh hamlet, Minh Son commune (Do Luong) is in difficult circumstances. His wife has been seriously ill for many years, so they do not have the funds to repair or upgrade their house. Therefore, for the past years, his family has had to live in a dilapidated house.

Faced with that situation, the Provincial Veterans Business Association mobilized its members to donate and support Mr. Cuoi with 50 million VND to build a new house. With the help of the village, comrades, relatives and the efforts of the family, Mr. Cuoi's solid house of over 50 square meters has been completed.

In 2017, the Provincial Association of Veterans Enterprises supported 8 families in difficult circumstances in the province to build new houses with a total cost of over 400 million VND. In addition, many enterprises belonging to the association also directly helped poor families and participated in social security activities in the area.
