Veterans Business Association 2nd Congress term 2017-2022
(Baonghean.vn) - Promoting the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers, sharing and cooperating, and encouraging members to strive to overcome difficulties and stabilize production and business are the main spirits at the 2nd Congress of the Veterans Business Association, term 2017-2022.
Attending the Congress were comrade Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the Vietnam Veterans Association and some other provinces; Vietnamese Heroic Mothers from Nghi Loc district, Vinh city, Nam Dan, representatives of departments, branches and business associations and 150 member enterprises of Nghe An Veterans Association. |
On the afternoon of April 27, in Vinh City, the Nghe An Veterans Business Association held its 2nd Congress for the 2017-2022 term. Established in 2011 under Decision No. 4678/QD-UB of the Provincial People's Committee, the Nghe An Veterans Business Association is a professional social organization, starting with only 100 members. After 5 years, the association expanded to 70 more members and currently, the Association has 150 effective business members.

Despite the impact of the economic recession, production enterprises are facing difficulties, but within 5 years, Nghe An Veterans Business Association still maintains stable production and business, revenue reaches over 7,216 billion VND, budget contribution is over 301 billion VND, contributing 16,276 billion VND to the social security program.
Along with creating regular jobs for 8,600 workers, with an average income of 5.2 million VND/month, through its activities, the Association has advised and protected the rights and legitimate interests of its members, actively participated in foreign affairs activities, and enhanced the promotion of the business image...
At the Congress, delegates together evaluated and reviewed the results of the Association's 5-year operation; discussed and approved a Resolution on a number of basic orientations and tasks and elected the Association's Executive Committee for the new term.
