Quy Hop Business Association contributed more than 600 million VND to build a bridge for people

(Baonghean.vn) - In order for the people of Tho Hop commune to have a sturdy bridge across Dinh river, Quy Hop district together with the district's Association of Small and Medium Enterprises surveyed and invested in building a bridge for the people.

For many years, due to lack of funds, more than 120 households in Son Tien hamlet, Tho Hop commune (Quy Hop) have had to cross the Dinh river on a temporary bridge every day.

In order for the people of Son Tien hamlet to have a sturdy bridge across the river, Quy Hop district met with the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises to conduct a survey to find capital to invest in building the bridge.

After a field survey, the bridge was designed to accommodate 7-seat cars, with railings to ensure the safety of people and vehicles when crossing the river. The bridge is estimated to cost about 1.5 billion VND.

Although this year many businesses in Quy Hop are having difficulty doing business, with a heart for social security, many businesses have registered to support. For example, Long Anh Private Enterprise donated 200 million VND; An Son Joint Stock Company 200 million VND, Dung Hung Private Enterprise 50 million VND, Phu Quy Stone and Mineral Company 150 million VND.Initially, 4 businesses have registered to donate 600 million VND...

Ms. Truong Thi Giang - Chairwoman of Tho Hop Commune People's Committee said: "The local government creates the best conditions for businesses to survey and carry out procedures so that the bridge can be constructed soon. This is the wish of more than 120 Tho ethnic households here. We also hope that the bridge will be completed soon, no longer worrying when the rainy season comes, contributing to promoting the development of the local economy."
