Nghe An Association in Hanoi gives gifts to students in Que Phong district

Attending the event were Hero of the People's Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Thuoc - former member of the Party Central Committee, former Commander of Military Region 4; Comrade Le Doan Hop - former member of the Party Central Committee, former Minister of Information and Communications, Chairman of the Nghe An Association in Hanoi; Comrade Sam Van Duyet - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Que Phong District Party Committee.

To encourage the teaching and learning spirit of teachers and students in disadvantaged areas, the Nghe An Association in Hanoi has called on and mobilized businesses, philanthropists and benefactors to contribute money, supplies and equipment to give to teachers and students of schools in Que Phong district.

Here, the Nghe An Association in Hanoi visited and presented gifts to teachers and students of Nam Nhong Secondary School, Nam Nhong Primary School, and Tri Le 1 Primary School, with 1 ton of rice, 30 bicycles, 100 warm winter blankets, 150 new children's clothes, 43 ao dai for teachers, and 40 cash gifts for poor students who have overcome difficulties.

On this occasion, the delegation also visited and gave gifts to encourage soldiers at Tri Le Border Post.
