Nghe An Association in the Southern Region opens "Nghe League 2016"

(Baonghean.vn) - The Southern Nghe An Association has just opened the "Nghe League 2016" football tournament.

This year's tournament brings together 12 football teams from Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces, who are living, studying and working in the Southern region.

This is a traditional tournament, held for the 4th time, a festival to exchange and connect fellow countrymen of Nghe An, creating a healthy, useful and practical playground for football lovers, while also finding talents to contribute to the homeland's football.

This year, the teams are divided into 2 groups (A and B), each group has 6 teams playing a round robin to select the 4 best teams to enter the quarter-finals.

This is the 4th year the tournament for Nghe people living far from home has been held.

The tournament is expected to take place within 2 months starting from March 20th to May 15th, 2016 and matches will take place at 5:00 p.m. every Sunday.
