Transportation industry meeting at the beginning of the year

(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of February 16, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting at the beginning of the year between the agencies and units of the Central and local transport sectors located in the province. Comrades Huynh Thanh Dien and Le Ngoc Hoa, Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting.

In 2015, Nghe An Transport Department made a breakthrough in key transport projects, leaving a comprehensive mark in many fields, making an important contribution to the overall development of the province. In particular, successfully implementing many key projects of the province such as: Tay Nghe An, Chau Thon - Tan Xuan route, opening a new Vinh - Nha Trang flight route, meeting the travel needs of the people.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Thanh Dien spoke highly of the contributions of enterprises in the transport sector.

In addition, the Cua Lo deep-water seaport system and Dong Hoi Port are included in the Vietnam Seaport Planning. Traffic safety, training, testing, driver licensing, and traffic maintenance continue to receive attention.

At the meeting, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, highly appreciated the contributions of the agencies and units of the transport sector, which have greatly contributed to promoting the socio-economic development of Nghe An province. Through this meeting, Nghe An province hopes that the central transport agencies and units located in the area will continue to pay more attention to the investment and management of transport infrastructure.
