Central Bus Station – one of the important projects and the highlight of the Southern Vinh City Road Transport Service Area project of Central Investment and Development Joint Stock Company; was announced to be put into operation according to Decision No. 469/QD – SGTVT of Nghe An Department of Transport.

The Central Bus Station is located at km20 of National Highway 1A, Vinh bypass, Vinh Tan ward, Vinh city; built on an area of ​​32,000m2 with a capacity of 800 - 1,000 vehicles/day. The bus station has full parking for international, inter-provincial, buses, taxis and auxiliary facilities.

The project is designed as a smart, modern bus station, all management and operation activities are applied with software, vehicle entry and exit management by magnetic card, surveillance by camera, with full services of food, accommodation, shopping,... meeting the standards of a type I bus station according to regulations of the Ministry of Transport.

On this occasion, the Central Investment and Development Joint Stock Company announced the fixed inter-provincial passenger transport routes nationwide by 2020, with a vision to 2030, of the Ministry of Transport allowing the Central Bus Station to operate. Accordingly, the Northern routes include: Central Bus Station to Hanoi, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Lang Son, Phu Tho, Viet Tri, Nam Dinh, Thai Nguyen, Thai Binh, Son La, Dien Bien, Hai Duong, Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa...

Southern routes include: Central Bus Station to Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Vung Tau, Hue, Da Nang, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Lam Dong, Gia Lai, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Binh Dinh, Kon Tum, Binh Phuoc...

At the same time, announce the policies of the Central Bus Station to give preferential treatment to customers. For transportation services, do not collect the entire fee for the first 2 months for fixed-route passenger cars and the first 6 months for buses. For support services, do not collect the first month fee for business services; publicly auction rental locations: kiosks, offices, ticket counters...; arrange full equipment for lighting systems, electric fans, domestic water...; Ensure security, fire safety and environmental sanitation.
