Scientific Conference of Military Hospital 4Improving the quality of health care for the armed forces and the people
On the afternoon of October 4, Military Hospital 4, Logistics Department of Military Region IV held a scientific conference to celebrate the 68th anniversary of the Hospital's founding (October 7, 1956 - October 7, 2024).
Attending the conference were representatives of the Logistics Department of Military Region IV and on the side of Military Hospital 4 were comrades in the Party Committee Standing Committee and Board of Directors.

Scientific research is one of the important tasks of Military Hospital 4. In recent years, the scientific research movement and technical development application of Military Hospital 4 has made great progress in both quantity and quality in all fields such as: Military medicine, internal medicine, surgery, paraclinical medicine, etc. Many practical, feasible topics are widely applied in daily professional work, contributing to the development of the industry.

In 2024, Military Hospital 4 has 20 grassroots-level projects and 1 provincial-level project that have been accepted.
This year's Military Hospital 4 Scientific Conference has 11 scientific reports; of which, there are 5 reports from Military Hospital 4 and 6 scientific reports from Nghe An General Friendship Hospital, Nghe An Endocrinology Hospital, Vinh Medical University, Military Hospital 268, and Pharmaceutical Company.
Many scientific reports and research projects were highly appreciated by the Scientific Council such as: Knee replacement surgery, spinal fixation surgery, cement injection through the extrapedicle into the vertebral body, brain surgery, vascular surgery, percutaneous nephrolithotomy with small tunnel, thrombolytic therapy, continuous blood filtration, interventional endoscopic techniques... helping to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, while reducing the rate of transferring patients to higher levels for treatment.

The scientific conference is an opportunity for officers and staff of Military Hospital 4 to introduce themselves and exchange experiences with colleagues from hospitals inside and outside the military so that scientific research at the hospital can develop further, contributing to improving the quality of health care for the armed forces and people in the area.
