Hoàn thành các nhiệm vụ trong một năm học "đặc biệt"
Hội nghị tổng kết diễn ra trong bối cảnh Việt Nam vừa trải qua một năm học khó khăn do ảnh hưởng của dịch Covid - 19. Phát biểu khai mạc hội nghị, Bộ trưởng Bộ Giáo dục và Đào tạo Phùng Xuân Nhạ cho rằng đây là năm học “đặc biệt”, đầy khó khăn, thách thức đối với ngành Giáo dục.

Tuy nhiên, cùng với sự nỗ lực của toàn ngành và các địa phương, năm học vừa qua ngành giáo dục đã thực hiện tốt mục tiêu "kép" đảm bảo an toàn phòng, chống dịch và hoàn thành kế hoạch năm học, đặc biệt là đã tổ chức tốt gần 4 tháng dạy học từ xa và kỳ thi tốt nghiệp THPT năm 2020. Hội nghị cũng nhìn lại những kết quả đã đạt được của ngành trong giai đoạn 2016 – 2020.

In addition, many opinions said that the Ministry should pay attention to opinions surrounding the implementation of the new textbook program for first graders to suit the program and the psychology of students. At the same time, it is necessary to pay attention to investing in school facilities and equipment to ensure conditions for "teachers to promote creativity and students to promote intelligence".
Speaking at the conference,Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trungagreed with the report of the Ministry of Education and Training on the results achieved in the past time. He affirmed that Nghe An always pays attention to leadership and direction; focuses all investment resources, giving first priority to the development of education, training and human resources of the province.
In recent times, Nghe An has always paid attention to planning, arranging, merging schools, and satellite schools, ensuring students' rights and implementing educational innovation. Mobilizing many resources to invest in facilities and teaching equipment to gradually synchronize and standardize; focusing on schools in mountainous and disadvantaged areas. Regularly paying attention to supplementing sufficient quantity and improving the quality of teachers with good qualities, prestige, and capacity, meeting the requirements of the 2018 General Education Program.

Thanks to the efforts of the whole province, the quality of key education and comprehensive education has been affirmed. In particular, the results of excellent students at national, regional and international levels have continuously ranked among the top in the country. By the 2018-2019 school year, Nghe An was the province with the number of students winning prizes in all international competitions; every year the number of students with high scores in the high school graduation exam was among the top in the country. Recently, Vinh city was one of two cities in Vietnam recognized by UNESCO as a "global learning city".
To effectively implement the orientation for the 2021-2025 period and the tasks for the 2020-2021 school year of the industry, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province proposed 3 issues:
+ Adding 7,843 positions for preschool and primary school teachers for Nghe An province; has been submitted by the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Home Affairs to the Prime Minister for consideration and decision.
+ Support Nghe An to strengthen the construction of facilities and supplement teaching equipment according to the requirements of the 2018 General Education Program.
+ Pay attention to supporting Nghe An in building a socialized model of boarding and semi-boarding schools for ethnic minorities in mountainous districts and difficult areas.
Don't lose faith in the innovation process.
Concluding the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam acknowledged the results achieved in the past school year.
Regarding the shortcomings and negative aspects of the education sector that have been reported in recent times, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam suggested that we should look at them calmly. We must identify that innovation is a continuous process and the implementation process requires adjustments and recognition of each issue, right or wrong. Therefore, we should not lose faith in the process of educational innovation.

The Deputy Prime Minister also requested that departments and branches pay attention to education work.
In addition, it is necessary to pay attention to the concept of culture in education. Education must involve the whole population and everyone must participate in education, especially education outside of school. The Deputy Prime Minister reminded the whole industry to understand: When people are still interested in education, the country will be blessed. Therefore, praise and criticism mean that people are still interested in education.
In the coming time, education also needs to move towards international integration. The State is responsible for ensuring enough schools, enough classes, and enough teachers for students. It is not because of streamlining the staff that schools lack teachers. Moving towards diversifying general education, we must implement equality in education; not have too many specialized schools and selective classes; gradually eliminate cramming, passive learning, lack of critical thinking, formality, and hassle in education...
