Conference on professional training for front-line work

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 29th, in Vinh City, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province organized a training course on Fatherland Front work for 2014.

Attending the opening ceremony were representatives from the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc, the Department of Internal Affairs; and the Standing Committee of the Fatherland Front of the districts and towns in the province.

The conference took place over three days (July 29-31) with seven main topics, including: Ho Chi Minh's ideology and the Party's viewpoint on national unity; the position, role, and tasks of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF); the implementation of the resolution of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Nghe An province for the 2014-2019 term; the functions and tasks of the VFF in the current period; the work of the VFF's movements and campaigns; the issue of receiving, managing, and using various funds of the VFF; the tasks of social supervision and criticism, and participation in contributing opinions to Party and government building by the VFF; the VFF's work on ethnic and religious affairs in the current situation; the implementation of the 2013 Constitution; the plan for implementing the resolution of the 13th Congress of the VFF of Nghe An province; the summary of the emulation campaign to celebrate the 13th Congress of the VFF of Nghe An province; and the compilation of opinions gathered at the training course and answers to requests.
