Inclosing speechAt the 2nd Central Conference of the 13th term of General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong, the people learned that the Central Committee voted to introduce candidates for the positions of President, Prime Minister, and National Assembly Chairman; gave opinions on the report to the Politburo so that the Politburo could officially introduce candidates for other positions for the National Assembly to consider, elect, or approve; and approved the working program for the entire term.
High concentration of votes
The high number of votes is the result of the Central Committee voting to introduce candidates for the positions of President, Prime Minister, and National Assembly Chairman. This shows that the Politburo, the Secretariat, and the Central Executive Committee respect the principle of democratic centralism and fulfill their responsibilities to the Party and the people. Differences are the rule, but through discussion, there is consensus.
Central Conference 2once again affirms that after the 13th Congress is the time to take action to bring the Resolution of the Congress into political, economic, cultural and social life, creating a foundation for 5 years of breakthrough. The difficulties the country is facing due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the challenges posed by digital transformation, and the aspirations for greatness will be resolved.
The high concentration of votes also demonstrates the Party's loyalty to the national interest, the result of solidarity within the Party on the basis of ensuring the Party's leadership and the rule of law.
Hope to have many excellent industry commanders
After the 2nd Central Conference, the 14th National Assembly will hold its 11th session, scheduled to open on March 24. The Central Executive Committee will comprehensively consider personnel issues and submit them to the National Assembly, while the people will decide through their representatives. The Party's will is noble, and the people's hearts will be in harmony.
During the past term, the Government and the National Assembly achieved many important achievements; the domestic situation was stable, with outstanding development; Vietnam's reputation in the international arena was enhanced.
The 11th session of the National Assembly will continue to discuss thoroughly and directly elect key positions: President, Prime Minister, and Chairman of the National Assembly. In those positions, individuals play an important role in the process of building and defending the Fatherland. When the people's hearts resonate with the Party's will, the result is a breakthrough in individual thinking, daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility.
Holding the positions of President, Prime Minister, and Chairman of the National Assembly are people who have been well-trained, tempered through practice and maturity, and nominated according to a strict process - elite resources that activate all potentials to build a prosperous Vietnam.
The government is strong only when there are many excellent sector commanders. Currently, there are sector commanders who are members of the Central Committee, some who are not; some who are of the age to enjoy the countryside, and some who are waiting to be approved to take on important responsibilities at the top of their sectors.

The 13th Party Congress, the 2nd Central Conference, the 11th session of the 14th National Assembly... The political events taking place in the first months of the year have a single goal: to prepare the Vietnamese revolutionary boat to overcome the waves, bringing the country into a new stage of development, 2021 - 2025.
