Study in Korea Seminar: Numerous Opportunities to Find Full Scholarships
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 9th, the Department of Education and Training, in coordination with Atlantic International Education and Training Company Limited, organized a workshop on the Kyungdong Scholarship Program in South Korea. Representatives from the Boards of Directors of 45 high schools in the province attended.
This is the first year that the Kyungdong University scholarship program in Nghe An province, South Korea, has been implemented with the aim of training global citizens proficient in both English and Korean to meet the recruitment needs of Korean, Vietnamese, and other international companies at an affordable cost. Under the cooperation program, Kyungdong University will provide Vietnamese students with scholarships covering 50%, 70%, and 100% of tuition fees for the entire four years of their specialized studies.

Kyungdong University, established in 1981 in Gangwon Province, offers 33 majors and has nearly 10,000 students. In 2013, the university was recognized as an "Excellent University" by the Korean University Evaluation Council and was also voted one of the ten universities with the most beautiful campuses in Korea. For the past five years, the university has consistently ranked first in Gangwon Province in terms of graduate employment rates. The scholarship application process for Kyungdong University is scheduled to take place in May of this year. Applicants must have achieved a GPA of 7 or higher for all three years of high school. The scholarship examination will consist of two rounds: an essay writing test in English or Korean and an interview with a university representative.
