National Workshop on 'Resources in the Digital Economy'

On the morning of April 21st,Nghe An UniversityIn collaboration with the University of Economics - Da Nang University; the Institute of Business Research - Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics; Hong Duc University, Da Lat University, and Nha Trang University, we co-organized the 2025 National Scientific Conference with the theme "Resources in the Digital Economy".

In his opening remarks at the workshop, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Hieu, Rector of Nghe An University, affirmed that the development of digital technology and the Internet has fundamentally changed the way economies around the globe operate, from traditional models to digital economies.

In particular, the application of artificial intelligence (AI), big data, and other digital technologies has brought about profound changes in how businesses operate, compete, and create new value.

Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Hieu also stated that Vietnam is currently in the process of promoting digital transformation, aiming to become a digital nation by 2030. Therefore, research on resources in the digital economy not only helps to better understand...The role of technology in creating economic value is crucial, but it also provides strategic guidance for leveraging digital resources effectively and sustainably.

With the above significance, the "Human Resources in the Digital Economy" conference is a forum for scientists, researchers, policymakers, and businesses nationwide to exchange and share research findings.

At this conference, the organizing committee received 221 papers from over 360 authors from more than 100 universities and research institutes both domestically and internationally. The reports revolved around topics such as: Digital transformation in education and training; Innovation in entrepreneurship in the digital economy; Sustainable business transformation models; The driving force behind the application of digital technology in business strategies; Solutions to promote the development of new markets such as the carbon credit market and the data market…

The workshop serves as an interdisciplinary scientific forum for scientists to present and discuss innovations, trends, and practical challenges encountered in recent research, as well as solutions applied by educational institutions, political organizations, and businesses in developing resources in the context of digital transformation.

This creates opportunities for collaboration between scientists in educational institutions, research institutes, and businesses in all aspects to develop resources in the digital economy.

At the conference, Nghe An University signed a cooperation agreement with Hong Duc University and the Veterinary Institute to improve the quality of training and apply science and technology towards the goal of mutual development and value creation.
