Our Party delegation led by Comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department, in addition to the main bridge in Hanoi, also connected to the following localities: Ho Chi Minh City, Thua Thien Hue, Nghe An, Cao Bang, Tuyen Quang.

The French Communist Party delegation was led by Comrade Eliane Assassi - Politburo member, Chairman of the Communist Party parliamentary group in the French Senate as Head of the delegation, with the following connection points: Central Party Headquarters in Paris; Head of the French Communist Party delegation attended online from the office in the French Senate; Marseille Party Committee.

This is a workshop within the framework of activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the French Communist Party (1920 - 2020) with the founding participation of comrade Nguyen Ai Quoc; the 100th anniversary of comrade Nguyen Ai Quoc attending the First Congress of the French Communist Party (1921 - 2021) in Marseille city and the 110th anniversary of his departure to find a way to save the country.

Marseille city was the place where President Ho Chi Minh visited three times, the first time in 1911, the first stop when he came to France on his journey to find a way to save the country; the second time in 1921, he attended the First Congress of the French Communist Party and the third time in 1946 when President Ho Chi Minh visited France as a distinguished guest of the French Government.

At the conference, there were many presentations by Vietnamese and French researchers and scientists such as: Prof. Dr. Hoang Chi Bao - senior expert, former member of the Central Theoretical Council with the presentation "President Ho Chi Minh with France - the journey from patriotism to communism"; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ly Viet Quang - Director of the Ho Chi Minh Institute and leaders of the Party, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics with the presentation "Ho Chi Minh with French culture and French friends"; presentation by Historian Alain Ruscio; presentation by Comrade Jean Coppola - Deputy Mayor of Marseille; presentation by Comrade Mélone Le Gourríerec - officer of the Foreign Affairs Department of the French Communist Party, elected representative of the Montreuil City Council in charge of youth...

Through the Workshop, we contribute to promoting, introducing and honoring President Ho Chi Minh and his special role for the two Parties, the relationship between our Party and the French Communist Party to the French, Vietnamese and international public, while strengthening and improving the effectiveness of the Party's foreign affairs work in the new situation.
