The first Aerobic competition for students in Nghe An province
(Baonghean.vn) - To celebrate the 62nd anniversary of the traditional day of students (January 9, 1950 - January 9, 2012), the Provincial Student Association organized the first Provincial Aerobic Competition for students and awarded the "January Star" award and the title "5 Good Students" for the 2010-2011 school year. Attending the event were comrade Thai Thanh Quy, Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union; Mr. Chue-Sang-Huy, Head of the Youth Union of Nam-Yang-Zu Province (Korea); 42 outstanding students from universities and colleges in the province.
Participating in the “First Provincial Aerobic Competition for Students” were 13 dance groups from high schools, colleges and universities in the province. The vibrant Aerobic performances that the teams performed conveyed the message: “New-age youth, good in intelligence, beautiful in soul and healthy in body” to the Youth Union members of the whole province. Through the competition, the aim is to create conditions for young people to exchange, learn, strengthen solidarity, especially to arouse cultural, artistic and physical training movements in schools.

Awarding the “January Star” award to students of Vinh University
As a result, the first prize went to the dance group “New Sun” of Do Luong; 2 second prizes went to Thanh Chuong and Nghe An College of Education. The organizing committee awarded 3 third prizes, 6 consolation prizes and 1 style prize to the remaining teams.
On this occasion, the Provincial Youth Union and Provincial Student Association organized a ceremony to honor 3 students who won the "January Star" award and 3 students who won the title of "5 Good Students" at the central level and 36 students who won provincial titles.
