The first Aerobic competition for students in Nghe An province.
(Baonghean.vn) - To commemorate the 62nd anniversary of the Student-Youth Traditional Day (January 9, 1950 - January 9, 2012), the Provincial Student Association organized the first Provincial Student Aerobic Competition and awarded the "January Star" prize and the "5 Good Students" title for the 2010-2011 academic year. Attending the event were Comrade Thai Thanh Quy, Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union; Mr. Chue-Sang-Huy, Head of the Youth Delegation of Nam-Yang-Zu Province (South Korea); and 42 outstanding students from universities and colleges in the province.
Thirteen dance groups from high schools, colleges, and universities across the province participated in the "First Provincial Aerobics Competition for Students." Their vibrant aerobic performances conveyed the message: "Youth of the new era: intellectually brilliant, beautiful in spirit, and physically healthy" to young people throughout the province. The competition aimed to create opportunities for young people to interact, learn, strengthen solidarity, and especially to promote cultural and artistic activities and physical training in schools.

The "January Star" and "Outstanding Student" awards were presented to excellent students.
The "January Star" award was presented to a student from Vinh University.
As a result, the first prize went to the "New Sun" dance group from Do Luong district; the two second prizes went to Thanh Chuong district and Nghe An College of Education. The organizing committee awarded three third prizes, six consolation prizes, and a style award to the remaining teams.
On this occasion, the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Student Association organized a ceremony to honor 3 students who won the "January Star" award and 3 students who achieved the "5 Good Students" title at the central level, and 36 students who achieved various titles at the provincial level.
