Competition of Military-level Technical Equipment and Weapons Depot

(Baonghean.vn) - On August 19, the Jury of the 2016 Military-Level Technical Equipment and Weapons Depot Competition led by Colonel Do Thanh Phong - Deputy Chief of Staff of the General Department of Technology, Vice Chairman of the Council, Head of the Jury, conducted the judging at Warehouse K3, Technical Department of Military Region 4.

The jury inspected the tank repair and maintenance work of Warehouse K3.

The jury of the 2016 Military-level Technical Equipment and Weapons Warehouse Competition conducted the evaluation on the following contents: Site planning, functional zoning and formal construction; warehouse management and operation; occupational safety and hygiene and fire prevention; testing awareness of technical work and practice of organizing technical days.

The jury tested the fire prevention and fighting system.

According to the jury's assessment, Warehouse K3 has done a good job of preparing for the contest in all aspects. Notably, the unit has invested more than 2 billion VND and more than 2,000 overtime working days of officers, employees and soldiers to consolidate and build the unit; warehouses and functional houses are arranged and located according to the planning; maintenance and repair targets for weapons and technical equipment have all reached over 80% of the annual plan; technical areas and environmental landscapes have been comprehensively consolidated; the system of professional records from agencies to units and warehouse keepers has been consolidated and improved; plans for fire and flood prevention have been developed, and safety and labor protection work has been properly implemented; 100% of officers, employees and soldiers have good awareness of professional expertise.
