2012 All-Army Tank and Armored Vehicle Technical Competition

(Baonghean.vn) -This morning, July 19th, at the 215th Tank Brigade, the Department of Engineering - General Department of Engineering (Ministry of National Defense) inaugurated the 2012 All-Army Tank and Armored Vehicle Engineering Competition. Attending and directing the competition were Major General Thai Xuan Duong – Deputy Political Commissar of the General Department of Engineering; and Major General Hoang Trung Kien - Commander of the Tank and Armored Vehicle Corps.

The competition includes the following sections: Competition on the best armored vehicle equipment and weaponry; Competition on the technical area, technical day activities, station and department activities related to comprehensive maintenance and repair; and a knowledge test.

To prepare well for this competition, regiments, brigades, and branches throughout the army have invested and mobilized all resources to prepare the content; organized the simultaneous deployment of more than 400 tanks, armored vehicles, and various types of engineering vehicles, and strengthened technical infrastructure to participate in the competition. The 2012 All-Army Tank and Armored Vehicle Technical Competition aims to gradually improve and create uniformity in establishing a regular and disciplined technical work, ensuring that it meets the requirements of training and combat readiness in the new situation.
