(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of September 17th,The Miss Ethnic Minority Beauty Contest of Nghe An Province was held in Vinh City. This is an event.Welcome to the 2nd Congress of Ethnic Minority Representatives of Nghe An Province – 2014.
The competition was attended by 21 contestants from 11 mountainous districts and towns in Nghe An province. The contestants participated in two parts: traditional costume and self-selected attire.
Spectators were treated to costumes with unique colors and patterns, exquisite embroidery techniques, and rich cultural identities of the Thai, Mong, Kho Mu, O Du, and Thanh ethnic groups. Besides the self-selected modern outfits, most contestants boldly chose to showcase their traditional ethnic costumes.
The judging panel worked diligently and responsibly to select outstanding individuals for the awards, honoring the beauty of young women from ethnic minority groups in western Nghe An province. The awards ceremony will be announced on the evening of September 17th, during the 3rd Nghe An Province Ethnic Minority Arts Festival – at Ho Chi Minh Square.
