The 4th Nghe An Red Cross Propaganda and First Aid Competition

(Baonghean.vn) - The Nghe An Red Cross Propaganda and First Aid Competition took place on July 20 and 21 at Dien Thanh beach, Dien Chau district with the participation of 8 teams from the Red Cross of 21 districts, towns and the Thanh Vinh Live Blood Bank Club.

With 3 competition parts: first aid skills competition with 5 basic situations including: stopping bleeding, bandaging wounds, fixing broken bones, rescuing fishermen drowning due to storms and taking victims to the emergency room safely.

The skit competition revolves around 7 areas such as: Emergency relief and humanitarian assistance, health care, first aid; voluntary blood donation, tissue and body part donation; propaganda of humanitarian values; disaster prevention and response...

The talent contest with forms of speech, singing and dancing are all related to the theme of the Red Cross.

Coming to this competition, the teams demonstrated professionalism in implementing professional measures in first aid as well as association work.

In addition to the purpose of creating a competitive movement and practicing skills, this is also an opportunity for Red Cross volunteers to demonstrate their ability to propagate humanitarian values, to exchange and learn, to share experiences in the work of the Association and the Red Cross movement, contributing to improving the capacity of the Red Cross propaganda team at the grassroots level.
