Nghe An Charity Association in Taiwan simultaneously donated to support victims

(Baonghean.vn) -On September 18, in different areas of Taiwan, Nghe An Charity Association simultaneously organized donations to support Nghe An workers in distress.

As planned, from early morning, charity groups of Nghe An Charity Association were present at major train stations: Taoyuan - Taipei, Taichung, Tainan, mobilizing Nghe An people in particular and Vietnamese people in general to respond to the Association's call to donate to help Nghe An workers who have had accidents in Taiwan in recent times.

Many Vietnamese people at train stations enthusiastically supported and helped Nghe An people in distress.

Each group has a few people carrying a number of cardboard boxes with photos and information of the victims. When mobilized, visitors will find out the information and put their own donations into the boxes.

Mr. Ho Viet Thuong (from Nghi Loc) - a member of the charity group in the Tainan area said: The practice of bringing boxes to collect donations by Nghe An people has existed for a long time, this is one of two ways of donating that Vietnamese charities often do in Taiwan.

After a full day of "launching" and implementing simultaneously in Taiwan, Nghe An Charity Association has raised 159,925 NTD, equivalent to nearly 100 million VND. This amount will be used by the Association to help workers and relatives of workers who have suffered the accident: Nguyen Van Dung (Nghi Loc), Nguyen Duy Mau, Le Van Trinh (Thanh Chuong), Hoang Ngoc Cuong (Dien Chau)... by handing it directly or sending it to Nghe An to give to the families./.
