Today, start collecting public opinions on the Land Law (amended)

The Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee clearly states: Organize to collect public opinions on the draft Land Law (amended) which has been revised by the Government on the basis of absorbing the review opinions of the National Assembly's Economic Committee, the review opinions of the Ethnic Council, the National Assembly Committees, and the opinions of National Assembly deputies at the 4th session of the 15th National Assembly.

The purpose is to promote the right to mastery, mobilize intelligence and enthusiasm, express the will and aspirations of the People to complete the draft Land Law (amended) in accordance with the Party's policies and guidelines, ensure the consistency, unity and feasibility of the legal system, and meet the requirements of national development in the new period.

Along with that, creating unity and consensus among the people towards the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on land; Raising awareness, sense of compliance with the law, responsibility of individuals, agencies and organizations in perfecting policies and laws on land, in accordance with the institution of developing a socialist-oriented market economy.

The draft Land Law (amended) was submitted to the National Assembly for first comments at the 4th Session at the end of 2022. The requirement set forth by the National Assembly Standing Committee is that the organization of public opinion collection must be conducted democratically, scientifically, publicly, transparently, substantively, ensuring progress, quality and economy.

Organize public consultation in appropriate forms, increase the application of information technology, create favorable conditions for all classes of people in the country and Vietnamese people residing abroad to participate in giving opinions.

"People's opinions must be collected, synthesized fully, accurately, objectively and seriously studied, absorbed and explained to complete the draft" - the resolution clearly stated.

The content of public consultation is the entire draft Land Law (amended); the key contents are determined by the Government in accordance with each group of subjects for consultation.

Comments can be made directly in writing; through conferences, seminars, and forums; through the electronic information portals of the National Assembly, the Government, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, mass media, forms of information technology application, and other suitable forms./.
