This year, candidates can register for university admission through many forms. |
For admission registration through direct admission application of candidates, universities must publicize on their website to be allowed by the Ministry of Education and Training for students to register. If any school does not announce direct admission application on its website, it will not be allowed to directly receive candidates' applications.
If candidates submit their application by post, they need to keep the post office receipt to avoid losing their documents.
Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Van Nghia, Deputy Director of the Department of Testing and Education Quality Assessment (Ministry of Education and Training) recommends that when candidates register for university admission by sending their application documents via post, postal staff will require candidates to declare some information: full name, code of the school they are applying to. In the registration number section, candidates should not write their registration number but write HD so that the school knows that the candidate is applying for admission by post using their transcript.
In addition, candidates should note that when paying the admission fee, candidates must put it in a separate envelope.
Regarding online admission, the Ministry of Education and Training warns candidates that there are currently a number of fake websites, so candidates need to consider carefully and only register online according to the official website announced by the Ministry of Education and Training and the schools.
To register for online admission, candidates must fill in the correct ID number, mobile phone number, and system access code. Candidates should note that when registering online, each action of the candidate has instructions and warnings, so candidates need to read carefully to do it correctly.
When registering for university admission online, each major code and school code are available so candidates can easily find them. However, online registration also has some inconveniences as candidates cannot register to pay the fee, so candidates need to read carefully that the university conducting the online admission requires payment of registration fees through the school, post office or bank to comply with the school's request.
Once the online university admission registration is completed, candidates will be notified that the registration is complete and sent a printed copy of the successful registration.
If applying online, candidates are not allowed to register more than 2 applications in the first round because the system will automatically eliminate a third application without the candidate knowing which one.
For the registration for admission to military schools, the police will update the application software a little later. Therefore, if the candidate registers more than 2 files, the application for admission to police and military schools will also be ignored.
Important notes in the 2016 university and college entrance exams
To avoid unfortunate problems when registering for university and college admissions in 2016, the Ministry of Education and Training would like to remind candidates of the schedule for the admissions rounds. Specifically as follows:
1. About registration
Candidates fill in the application form and submit it to the school by post or directly to the school (if the school allows). Note: For schools that enroll students in groups, there will be a separate application form.
Candidates who register for online admission need to directly access the website address: http://thisinh.thithptquocgia.edu.vn.
Online registration will end 1 day before the deadline specified above.
2. Admission and announcement of results
Schools need to announce the admission results within the prescribed time period. Candidates need to follow the admission results on the school's website or use the access code (provided when registering for the exam) to access the system to view their admission results.

3. Confirmation of enrollment at school:
Candidates need to submit the original Certificate of Examination Results to the school to confirm enrollment at the school they have been admitted to.
Candidates can submit the Certificate of Exam Results directly to the school or by post.
Candidates who do not submit the Certificate of Exam Results mean that they do not wish to study at the selected school.
To facilitate candidates to become familiar with the online registration method, from the afternoon of July 28, 2016 to 5:00 p.m. on July 31, 2016, the Ministry of Education and Training will allow candidates to test online registration on the website http://thisinh.thithptquocgia.edu.vn.
Candidates should note:
To register online, candidates need to log in to the system using the access code provided when registering for the exam and their ID number (registered in the Exam Registration Form).
In addition, to receive the authentication code (OTP code) when registering for online admission, candidates must have a mobile phone number registered in the system. Candidates who use the online admission registration form but have not registered a mobile phone number or wish to change their mobile phone number, need to go to the application reception point to submit a request to register or change their mobile phone number.
Trial registration information will be deleted by the system after the trial registration period ends.
