Today, the first GMS Business Summit Forum opens
Today (March 30), in Hanoi, within the framework of the 6th Greater Mekong Subregion Summit (GMS-6), the first GMS Business Summit Forum was held.
This is an outstanding initiative of Vietnam as the host of this Conference to enhance dialogue between businesses and the State, connecting businesses in the region and the world.

This initiative received consensus from GMS member countries, support from partners such as the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the World Bank (WB), ASEAN, and the business community with more than 2,000 domestic and international entrepreneurs registering to participate.
According to the ADB, which acts as the GMS Secretariat, Vietnam's hosting of this event will open up opportunities to bring energy, financial resources and ideas to this regional cooperation mechanism.
The forum was divided into ministerial-level discussion sessions on a range of key cooperation areas of the GMS mechanism, namely new business models, private sector development, infrastructure construction and high-tech application.

In particular, late this afternoon, the Forum's policy dialogue plenary session will take place with the participation of leaders of the six member countries.
