More than 10,000 people participate in the biggest super festival 'Going home to celebrate Tet' in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - More than 10,000 participants, more than 3,000 banh chung wrapped and boiled right in the park, more than 20 physical and experiential games,... are impressive numbers at the super festival "Going home to celebrate Tet" held at the large green park Eco Central Park of the founder of Ecopark.

Than3,000 banh chung cakes were "baked"
Last weekend, more than 10,000 residents and tourists came to the super festival "Going home to celebrate Tet" at Eco Central Park (nearly 200 hectares wide, in Vinh city, Nghe An province) and had interesting impressions and experiences.
The first impression for visitors when entering Eco Central Park gate is the vibrant Tet melodies, rows of green trees stretching as far as the eye can see, sparkling decorated streets, hundreds of colorful flowers and fun activities.

The first activity to mention is the Chung cake wrapping festival. For the first time, under the green space of the large park, thousands of families gathered together to arrange and cut leaves, create molds, measure rice, arrange fillings and wrap early Chung cakes, under the guidance of artisans. After completion, these cakes were boiled for 9-10 hours not far away. The finished products were soft, green, square Chung cakes which were given back to the families. This made many children and families extremely excited.

Instead of choosing to take her child to the ball house like usual, this weekend, Ms. Le Thi Trang (35 years old, Ben Thuy ward, Vinh city) brought her mother, daughter and her sister's family to Hung Vuong avenue to attend the super festival "Going home to celebrate Tet". "This is the first time my little one has personally participated in so many stages of making banh chung. Normally at home, she doesn't enjoy this, but when she came to the event, she insisted on doing it because she saw many other children doing the same. Having fun and also getting gifts to bring home made my little one very happy", Ms. Trang added.
To serve the experience needs of families, the founder of Ecopark has dedicated a space of nearly 300m2divided into 10 wrapping areas and 50 banh chung boiling pots with the support of artisans. In two days, nearly 3,000 banh chung were "baked".

Ms. Tran Lien Hoa (50 years old, one of the artisans supporting the Chung cake wrapping activity) said that many young people and children enjoy this early Chung cake wrapping activity. “To have delicious cakes, the ingredients are extremely important. The rice chosen must be yellow sticky rice, firm, with a characteristic aroma. The green beans must be the small bean type and processed from the time the beans break, soaked to peel off the shell, cleaned, drained until cooked, so that the cake filling will be fragrant. In addition to beans, the cake filling needs to have fresh pork belly or lean shoulder mixed with enough salt, pepper... spices, when eaten it will be more flavorful”, Ms. Hoa shared with the young people learning to wrap cakes for the first time, her hands still deftly pouring each layer of rice, beans, and meat smoothly.
Preserving traditional values
Around Hung Vuong walking street, which is brilliant during the day and sparkling at night, there are many booths and other Tet-specific activities such as throwing con, bamboo dancing, walking on monkey bridges, making clay figurines, smashing pots, calligraphy...

Coming to the Eco Central Park for the first time with her two daughters and granddaughter, Ms. Truong Thi Vy (58 years old, Que Phong district, Nghe An) said she was very impressed with the airy, cool space with many trees of Thien Nga Lake Park as well as the entire project. “In such a space, everything here such as facilities, houses are very beautiful, convenient and modern. In particular, in that space, there are also traditional activities, typical of our Thai ethnic people, such as throwing con and bamboo dancing. I see that the typical activities of my ethnic group are loved by many people and want to experience like that, which is a very proud thing,” Ms. Vy added.
For Thai people, the activity of throwing con balls at the beginning of the new year means wishing for a new year with good crops and prosperity for all things...

While waiting for her mother to relive her childhood with the game of throwing con and jumping on bamboo poles, Ms. Ngo Minh Ngoc, her daughter and younger sister lined up at the calligraphy stall of the calligrapher to ask for calligraphy. Ms. Ngoc shared: “I had to wait a long time for my turn to ask for calligraphy because there were so many people in line. Today, I asked for the words Phuc and Loc with the hope that next year my family will always be happy and have a lot of luck and money in the new year.”

In addition, the booth coloring wooden products with many different shapes, lovely and typical of Tet holiday such as: banh chung, parallel sentences, calligraphers, fruit trays also attracted many young visitors...

Old glory in the heart of Eco Central Park
Not only are there traditional activities with typical folk games, at the super festival "Going home to celebrate Tet", there is also a painting exhibition "Vinh Xua's appearance" organized by Vinh Xua group in collaboration with the investor Eco Central Park.
Also at the event, the founder of Vinh Xua group - researcher Pham Xuan Can gave a presentation right at Hung Vuong walking street about the appearance of Vinh in the past so that Eco Central Park residents and tourists could have the opportunity to learn more about the historical traditions, landmarks and development journey of Vinh city.

According to the organizers, the 60 paintings of the exhibition are 60 stories about Vinh in the past. These photos help viewers have a clear picture of Vinh city of more than 100 years ago. And when developing the Eco Central Park project, the investor brought the features of Vinh in the past into the project when many architectural planning lines were inspired by the legendary Lam River, the park still preserved the Lam Giang flooded area, many interiors in the house were inspired by the sea trips of Nghe people...

Under the brilliant, sparkling space of Hung Vuong walking street, with a series of attractive games, Eco Central Park residents and visitors can also enjoy many melodies, hit songs, young music about spring, nature, people... Surely the experiences here will be beautiful, memorable memories for many families and young people.
