More than 100 elderly people received free eye exams

On the morning of October 17, in Tan Hop commune (Tan Ky), Tan Ky District Medical Center organized free eye examinations for more than 100 elderly people.

Here, doctors and nurses examine, advise on prevention, treatment and provide free medicine for eye diseases. For serious cases, they will be advised on treatment methods or cataract surgery.

The program of free eye examination, consultation, medicine and surgery is a meaningful activity, contributing to the care and protection of the health of the elderly; creating conditions for the elderly who are poor, in remote, mountainous and ethnic minority areas to have the conditions to be examined, consulted and treated for eye diseases.
