More than 120 science and technology projects for high school students

(Baonghean.vn) – In order to encourage high school students to apply the knowledge they have learned to solve practical problems, the Department of Education and Training organized a Science and Technology competition for high school students, school year 2015 - 2016.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Education and Training visited the clean vegetable growing project model of Chu Thi Phuong Quynh (class 9B, Nghi Dien Secondary School).

This is the third time the contest has been held, attracting the participation of hundreds of students from 32 high schools and 18 education and training departments in the province. This year, the contest received 123 scientific and technical products in many fields: behavioral social sciences, chemistry, biochemistry, environmental engineering, physical energy, physics and astronomy, robots and intelligent machines, computer software systems, biology, etc.

The competition was attended by many students from mountainous districts. In the photo, Tran Thi Thanh Huyen, a student at Tuong Duong Boarding School, presented her project on a self-pumping water machine.

The competition is organized at the grassroots and provincial levels. Projects with high scores at the provincial level will be selected to participate in the national competition organized by the Ministry of Education and Training.

The contest is an opportunity for high school students across the province and units with students participating in the contest to exchange intelligence, culture, educational experiences and promote the image of the unit and locality.
