More than 2,000 primary school students in Vinh City are taught skills to prevent sexual abuse.
(Baonghean.vn) - "Skills to prevent and combat child sexual abuse" was the theme of the extracurricular activity organized by the Department of Education and Training, the Provincial Youth Union and the Children's Newspaper for more than 2,000 students of Hung Binh Primary School and Quang Trung Primary School (Vinh City) on March 7.
This is an extracurricular life skills education activity in primary schools implemented by the Ministry of Education and Training nationwide. In Nghe An, the program received the attention of many students and teachers for the first time.

At this event, an education expert from Hanoi National University of Education introduced many necessary skills in preventing and combating child abuse. These include how to recognize private areas (swimsuit areas), 5 warning signs of sexual abuse, the 5-finger rule and 3 tips for preventing and combating sexual abuse.
In addition, with questions and organized situations, students are also instructed on the necessary knowledge and skills to protect themselves from sexual abuse and how to recognize risks, behaviors, and words that harass them...

This is a practical and useful activity. Through the activity, we aim to raise awareness for students to better protect themselves in the community; help primary school students form healthy behaviors, habits, and positive attitudes; eliminate negative behaviors and habits in daily life, study, and training.
