Reportedly, during the holidays, hotels and guesthouses in Cua Lo town were fully booked. In particular, most accommodations along Binh Minh street were completely booked.
Mr. Nguyen Trong Ky, Head of Sales at a large hotel in Cua Lo town, said: This year, the quantityguestsThere was a sudden surge in bookings; we started receiving reservations for the holiday as early as mid-August. In particular, on September 1st and 2nd, both of our properties, with nearly 600 rooms, were fully booked. Of those, guests from outside the province accounted for 70%. We had to mobilize 100% of our staff to meet the demand.
Despite the large number of visitors, traffic management and safety measures for locals and tourists were strictly implemented. Recreational activities on the beach were conducted in a culturally appropriate manner, adhering to traditional customs and morals, and there were no instances of offensive behavior as in the past.
Cua Lo town has set a target of welcoming 1,550,000 visitors in 2022, including 516,000 overnight visitors, focusing on domestic tourists.
To ensure that Cua Lo's tourism image in 2022 remains safe, friendly, and hospitable in the hearts of both locals and tourists, the People's Committee of Cua Lo town has issued a directive requiring 100% of organizations and individuals operating tourism services in the town to publicly display prices for all items: food and beverages, room rates, and accompanying services. Absolutely no price gouging is allowed during peak tourist seasons. Any establishment violating this regulation will be severely punished.
