More than 200 students are F0, many schools in Nghe An have to switch to online teaching
(Baonghean.vn) - The emergence of positive cases in schools has forced many schools to temporarily switch from in-person teaching to online learning.
According to the synthesis ofDepartment of Education and Training, the whole province currently has 261 students in the F0 category being treated at medical facilities or field hospitals. Of these, 28 are preschool students, 74 are primary school students, 95 are secondary school students and 64 are high school students.
Regarding F0 cases, there are currently 4,354 F1 students in quarantine. In addition, the province has 19 F0 teachers being treated and 827 F1 teachers in quarantine.

In recent days, as the number of F0 cases continues to increase, the province has had to mobilize 86kindergarten atThe districts of Quynh Luu, Tuong Duong, Quy Chau, Nghi Loc, Yen Thanh, Dien Chau, and Tan Ky must be requisitioned to serve as centralized quarantine areas.
The rapid increase in the number of F0 cases in schools has also affected the learning of tens of thousands of students in the whole province. Currently, only 3 districts are still organizing 100% direct teaching for primary to high school levels: Ky Son, Anh Son and Yen Thanh. The rest are having to organize both direct and online teaching.
Most recently, due to the appearance of 13 F0 cases among students and teachers, Con Cuong district has temporarily stopped all students from kindergarten to secondary school in the entire district from in-person teaching and switched to online teaching.

To limit cross-infection in schools, in addition to safe disease prevention solutions, an effective solution is to vaccinate teachers and students.
Currently, over 95% of teachers in the province have received the second dose of the vaccine. In addition, the number of high school students receiving the first dose is 96%. Currently, only 15,932/110,817 secondary school students in the province have received the first dose of the vaccine./.
