More than 200 Buddhists of Chi Linh Pagoda participate in voluntary blood donation
(Baonghean.vn) - More than 200 monks, nuns, and Buddhists participated in the humanitarian blood donation program organized for the first time by Chi Linh Pagoda.

On July 31, Chi Linh Pagoda (Gam Pagoda) in Xuan Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District coordinated with the District Blood Donation Steering Committee and the Provincial Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center to organize a voluntary blood donation festival "Red drops of gratitude".
The blood donation session took place at the Chi Linh pagoda hall with more than 200 monks, nuns, and Buddhists from inside and outside Yen Thanh district participating, many of whom participated for the first time. At the end of the blood donation session, the amount of blood collected by the organizing committee was 200 units.

Venerable Thich Tue Minh - Abbot of Chi Linh Pagoda said: Voluntary blood donation is a noble act, contributing to ensuring blood supply for patient treatment and emergency care.
