More than 300 delegates will attend the Vietnam Tourism Conference held in Nghe An.
(Baonghean.vn) - During the conference, Nghe An province will continue to direct the tourism industry and press agencies to continue promoting propaganda forms, creating a spread so that people in the province and in the country pay more attention to restoring and developing tourism.
On the morning of December 24, in Vinh city, the People's Committee of Nghe An province held a press conference to prepare for the Vietnam Tourism Conference 2021 with the theme "Vietnam Tourism - Recovery and Development".

The press conference was chaired by comrades: Ta Van Ha - Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Education; Nguyen Trung Khanh - General Director of the General Department of Tourism, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee.
Also attending were representatives of leaders and professional departments of the Department of Information and Communications and the Department of Tourism, the Provincial Journalists Association, and representatives of press agencies, representative offices, and reporters from central and local press agencies.
About 300 delegates attended the conference.
At the press conference, Comrade Nguyen Trung Khanh - General Director of the General Department of Tourism presented a press release with the content: The Committee for Culture and Education of the 15th National Assembly chaired and coordinated with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Nghe An province to organize the 2021 Tourism Conference with the theme "Vietnam Tourism - Recovery and Development".

The workshop was held on December 25, 2021 in Cua Lo Town, Nghe An Province, and connected online with bridges across the country, including key tourism localities such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Thua Thien Hue, Da Nang, Can Tho, Kien Giang, ...
There are about 300 delegates including National Assembly members, managers, experts, businesses, and organizations operating in the tourism sector at home and abroad who have registered to attend the Workshop. National Assembly and Government leaders will attend and speak at this event.

The workshop aimed to assess the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic on the tourism industry, opportunities and challenges for Vietnam tourism; discuss orientations and solutions to recover and develop Vietnam tourism quickly and sustainably; recommend the National Assembly and the Government to have timely solutions to remove difficulties to support businesses and people; provide information for National Assembly deputies to decide on breakthrough policies to recover and develop tourism in the "new normal" conditions.
To prepare the contents of the Workshop well, the Committee of Culture and Education organized consultations with experts, surveys at associations, tourism businesses, some localities and worked with relevant parties. The Workshop Organizing Committee also received nearly 100 presentations with rich and in-depth content.
The workshop includes 02 sessions.Special sessionThe workshop will hear reports from central ministries and branches, comments and discussions from local leaders, experts and businesses on policies and solutions for tourism recovery and development, trends and world experiences in overcoming the COVID-19 crisis to develop tourism.
InPlenary session,The workshop will hear speeches from leaders of the National Assembly and the Government; reports assessing the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, proposed solutions to restore Vietnam's tourism in the 2022-2023 period from ministries and branches, and comments and discussions from local leaders, domestic and international experts, and businesses.
The workshop is a continuation of the National Assembly's agencies, deepening the issues discussed at the Vietnam Economic Forum 2021:“Recovery and sustainable development”, contributing to removing "bottlenecks" to help tourism recover, develop sustainably, and become a key economic sector.
At the press conference, Mr. Bui Dinh Long - Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee expressed his joy when being selected by the National Assembly's Committee for Culture and Education as the venue for the Vietnam Tourism Conference 2021. This is an opportunity to promote the image and potential of Nghe An province, and also an opportunity for tourism businesses in the province to learn, exchange and share experiences.
When selected as the venue for the Conference, Nghe An province has urgently carried out preparations such as the location of the Conference in the coastal town of Cua Lo, accommodation for about 300 delegates; building tours and routes for delegates to visit. In addition, directing to promote propaganda on media and visual propaganda.
At the same time, paying special attention to the work of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic, all delegates, reporters and people who want to attend, before entering the Conference room, will be tested for Covid-19.
Through this, comrade Bui Dinh Long hopes that reporters and journalists on this occasion will pay more attention to promoting the image of the homeland and people of Nghe An, especially the tourist areas, spots and tourism potential of President Ho Chi Minh's homeland.
Finding solutions to restore and develop tourism in the "new normal" conditions
At the press conference, representatives of central and local press agencies raised questions and discussed the following issues: What are the goals and expectations when organizing the Workshop? After the Workshop, what solutions will Nghe An tourism industry propose to recover and develop? What will be the communication and promotion work of Nghe An province during the Workshop and how will the Organizing Committee create conditions for reporters and journalists to work?...
Answering questions from reporters and journalists, the press conference chairmen affirmed that the Workshop is a forum for delegates to discuss and assess the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the tourism industry, the opportunities and challenges for Vietnam tourism when moving to the "new normal" state, and is an opportunity to exchange and discuss orientations and solutions for tourism recovery and development in the coming time.

Regarding questions related to Nghe An province, comrade Bui Dinh Long said that Nghe An has built a plan to restore and develop tourism with a specific roadmap and steps, while ensuring prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic. In the immediate future, organizing the New Year and Lunar New Year celebrations, Nghe An will open its doors to tourists on the basis of ensuring safety, strictly implementing "5K" and directing tourist establishments to develop specific plans to handle situations when infections arise...
