More than 400 young soldiers participate in 'Semester in Nghe An Province Army' in 2025
On the morning of May 31, at Ho Chi Minh Square, the 2025 Military Semester Program was held with the participation of more than 400 students. This year's program has a meaningful theme: "Continuing the story of peace".
The ceremony was organized by the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union in coordination with the Department of Education and Training, Military School of Military Region 4. Attending were comrade Nguyen Manh Phong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union; representatives of the Political Department of Military Region 4; Department of Education and Training and Military School of Military Region 4.
In his opening speech, comrade Nguyen Manh Phong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, emphasized: "Continuing the story of peace" is not only a slogan but also a sacred call. It is a sincere reminder that peace is not something that is already there, but is the result of the sacrifices and hardships of millions of predecessors, so that today's young generation can live in peace, study and dream."
The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union also affirmed that when the gunfire has receded, the responsibility to preserve and continue the values of peace is the mission of the Party.young generation, including young people - those who will continue to write the story of peace.
Comrade Nguyen Manh Phong added that when entering the "Military Semester", the students not only wear the green uniform of a soldier but also wear the spirit of discipline, responsibility and camaraderie. The next 9 days will be a challenging journey, where they have to leave their families, train their physical strength, take care of themselves and overcome themselves. However, in those moments, every drop of sweat, every step of marching, every time they fold a blanket at right angles or share with friends will be the steps for them to grow up.
The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union expressed his belief that after the course, the students will return not only with a stronger physique, but also with a loving soul, a spirit of sharing, and the desire to live with ideals, goals, and responsibilities.
From 2011 to present, the program“Semester in the Army”Nghe An province has been organized and affirmed as an effective and humane educational model, contributing significantly to educating life ideals, patriotic traditions and life skills for the young generation.
This year's program takes place fromMay 31 to June 8, with a scale of more than 400 students from inside and outside the province. The organizers expect this to be a place for comprehensive training of physical, intellectual, skills and personality forteenagers, helping each student, when returning, continue to write the most beautiful story of youth with the spirit of dedication, patriotism, kindness and responsibility to the community.
For the program to be successful, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union asked the staff, commanders, teachers and coordinators to promote a sense of responsibility, coordinate closely, and ensure absolute safety for the students. At the same time, he hoped that the students would open their hearts, courageously step out of their comfort zones, study hard, live fully and leave behind many memorable impressions.
