More than 50 wooden blocks hidden in a truck carrying corn

Wood on 2 Lao trucks was disguised as corn kernels.

Lieutenant Colonel Chu Minh Tien - Deputy Head of the Environmental Police Department (PC 49), Provincial Police said: Using professional measures, on January 3, 2017, detectives of Team 3, Environmental Police Department arrested 2 cars with Lao license plates that were illegally transporting wood.

More than 50 cubic meters of wood were hidden under the floor of the car.

Through initial inspection, both cars were driven by 4 Lao people, the cars were camouflaged by carrying corn kernels, the floor of the car was piled with wood. The drivers could not present documents proving the origin of the above shipment.

Currently, the case is being further investigated and expanded by the police to be handled according to the provisions of law.
